A film produced by the Israel Film Service with the support of the Creative Film Incubator for Immigrant Filmmakers and the Center for the Absorption of Immigrant Artists.
In the year that the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel marks its 40th anniversary, the country continues to face numerous environmental challenges. Industrial agriculture, polluting factories, increased urbanization, and improper waste management harm the soil, water, and air, reduce open spaces, and cause noise pollution. In response, various public and civic initiatives have emerged to fight for a better environment. A greenhouse that replaced chemical pesticides with biological control, a village based solely on renewable energy, and many other environmental projects are featured in this short film.
