What is the true essence of a hospital? Is it just a place where medical care is provided? How do patients feel when they visit a hospital, and what is the role of the staff beyond just providing medical care?
This film presents the new Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital, opened in 1961 on the outskirts of Jerusalem, which takes a holistic approach to medical care by addressing the mental and psychological needs of each patient. The hospital offers personal care, professionalism, and modern equipment to ensure that patients feel comfortable and supported.
We would see the different departments of the new center, the various services it provides, and try and comprehand its unique essence, which makes it such a humane and extraordinary place.”
