A documentary produced by the Israel Film Service
In 1976, Lihi Hanoch documented in her film “Rosh Pina: The Lost Dreams of the Upper Street” young settlers in the old settlement. At that time, they were met with suspicion by an older generation who feared that the settlement would change its face. Almost 20 years later, those who appeared in that film recount what has changed since. It appears that some of the elders, such as Menachem Ben Aryeh, still hold grudges towards the youngsters from back then. However, now, even the more recent settlers are concerned about the community’s future.
