A film by the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Jewish Agency, produced by the Israel Film Service.
Many Ethiopian immigrants who arrived in Israel in the 80s and 90s faced challenges in integrating into Israeli society, especially when it came to their children’s education. To address this issue, this film shows parents who come together to seek advice from a Jewish Agency representative on how to navigate the education system in Israel. They discuss topics such as whether to send their children to a boarding or regular school, religious or secular schools, as well as the importance of parental involvement in their children’s education. Through these discussions, they are able to share their experiences, find solutions to common problems, and support their children’s integration into Israeli society.
