An educational video produced by the Israel Film Service for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
Jerusalem School of Arts students are having difficulties understanding the language in Haim Nachman Bialik’s story “Who is the Thief”, which is written in biblical Hebrew. The story is about a theft, and the related trial, conducted by King Solomon.
They embark on an adventure, where they first visit the Supreme Court, and hear about contemporary justice and law.
They continue to Jerusalem Wohl Rose Garden, where they act out the story, with the help of a mime and a magic dictionary that translates the biblical words into contemporary Hebrew.
