Informational video of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, produced by the Israel Film Service.
The Ministry of Education’s new Mihmat program has been designed to assist welfare communities in improving the level of education, reducing dropout rates, and increasing job opportunities and income levels.
It serves as a comprehensive framework for planning, operating, and controlling all educational and cultural activities in the community, with a particular emphasis on science and technology. The program is intended for all members of the community, regardless of age or background, and includes informal education opportunities such as adult education centers, integration centers for new immigrants from the Ethiopian community, and more.
The video features the first community where the Mihmat program has been implemented, Gedera, and includes interviews with various professionals who discuss the program’s objectives, unique features, and early results, that are already visible and have had a positive impact on the community.
