A collection of segments on private entrepreneurship featured in the Russian-language program “Mirror,” produced for the Information and Publicity Division of the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption.
Each segment presents immigrants from the Soviet Union who have successfully established small businesses in Israel. The interviewees are filmed at their workplaces, sharing their experiences and insights regarding entrepreneurship and business management. The story of each business and its owner is then summarized by a business consultant, who offers an analysis of the challenges faced by the entrepreneurs, as well as the advantages and tools that contributed to their ultimate success. Additionally, viewers are introduced to the M.T.I (acronym for Centers for Nurturing Entrepreneurship), which many of the interviewees consulted at the beginning of their business ventures. A gym owner, suppliers of advanced medical equipment, a beekeeper genetically enhancing bees, each of the new immigrants featured is a success story.
