A documentary, from the Kibbutz Kfar Menahem archive, shot on an experimental farm in Smithville Ontario trains members of the Canadian Jewish community as pioneers of the kibbutz. The film shows the activities that community members go through as part of their training process. The activities combine a dialogue about the pioneers’ tasks in establishing the settlement and the eternal Jewish problem, agricultural work, caring for the farm and farm animals, maintaining the settlement, and participating in the joint tasks. At the end of the training period, members of the community can take part in building the settlement in the country and establishing the kibbutzim.
