British soldiers evacuate wounded men from the rubble after the explosion of the British Officers Club building on King George Street (the Goldschmidt House). The Irgun underground (Etzel) claimed responsibility for the attack, which resulted in the killing of 17 British soldiers and officers. The wounded soldiers are evacuated on stretchers.
