View of the shoreline of Haifa Bay and Haifa Port. The clip opens with a view of the oil tankers in Haifa Port (Carmel Terminal nowadays), at the front of the frame is the eastern part of Hadar HaCarmel neighborhood. Afterwards is viewed the Shemen beach where the buildings of the first steam power station in Haifa is seen alongside the Shemen Factory compound, at the back of the frame more oil tankers are seen to the east in Kiryat Haim beach, followed by a view back west to Haifa Port. This shot ends with a view of a hilly garden on the east side of Hadar HaCarmel neighborhood. Afterwards a close up review of the buildings of the first steam power station in Haifa alongside the Shemen Factory compound. Later the film depicts the streets Maaleh Hashichrur (formerly Maaleh Burj) at its bottom the junction with Shivat Zion street (formerly Stanton), where the Burj square (nowadays Maaleh Hashichrur square) is seen. This traffic route was a major route connecting the Lower City with Hadar HaCarmel neighborhood. Afterwards is seen an alley with a typical staircase connecting the Lower City with Hadar HaCarmel, this is the lower staircase of Omar El khiyam street, in the depth of the frame is the Al Jarina Grand Mosque in the Lower City. The rest of the clip depicts footage of daily life in a kibbutz near Haifa, probably Kibbutz Yagur. Women work in ironing, sewing, washing and baking bread. In the common dining room, the members eat their meals together, and in the carpentry workshop a woman and a man work together and prepare wooden beams for construction.
