An excerpt from Mamilla Days, an Israeli Film Service documentary about Jerusalem’s Mamilla neighborhood.
While the surrounding houses are designated for demolition as a part of the areas rehabilitation, the Chapel of Saint Vincent de Paul in Mamilla should remain untouched. Within the walls of the monastery, which also operates as a hospice, nuns watch over orphans from East and West Jerusalem alike.
