Director Dan Wolman made this experimental short, a critical social commentary, whilst still a film student at NYU. Two characters appear, seemingly out of nowhere, in a white space with their upper torsos exposed: one is white and the other, black. They examine themselves and each other. The white man gets dressed (using stop-motion animation) whereas the black man remains unchanged, dancing in this amorphous space. The white man tries to dominate the black one and attempts to dress him and even paint him white – but the black man revolts, and violence ensues. Soon, the white space becomes bloodstained, and the two men lie dead next to each other. Then, once more – out of nowhere – a third man appears, Asian this time.
