Israel’s southernmost seaside town of Eilat is the setting of director Dan Wolman’s family-friendly adventure film. Orr, a young teen whose parents divorced when he was a boy, learns that his father, whom he hasn’t seen in years, is back in town. The reunion with his dad triggers a lot of painful memories which Orr decides to work through by going scuba diving at the local coral reef with his friend, Gal.
A recent earthquake in the region altered the reef’s topography, revealing a previously obscured crevice that leads Orr to a buried treasure. Orr tries to learn more about the treasure’s origins at the underwater observatory park where he volunteers, but the plot soon thickens when he realises he is being followed by suspicious figures and shortly thereafter, the treasure is stolen, leaving Orr and Gal resolved to get it back. Along the way, Orr will have to face up to mysterious powerful forces, as well as the ghosts of yesteryear that continue to haunt his relationship with his father. As his skin thickens and he starts to come into his own, he may even find love on this adventure of a lifetime.
