Pinhas, a farmer who immigrated from Kurdistan and settled in the Beit She’an Valley, wakes up one morning from a dream about his sister, whom he has not seen for 50 years. She was left behind in Kurdistan and married a Muslim man. At the age of 75, despite opposition from his family, Pinhas sets out on a dangerous journey to his homeland to meet his sister.
Pinhas attempts to bring her family to Israel in the hope that she will follow them, but his dream turns into a nightmare when he discovers that things are not exactly as he had imagined. The heart, which seemed to have healed after so many years, cracks once again.
